  • Microsoft SQL Requirements: Requires Microsoft SQL Server 2017 or later, applicable for both on-premises and hosted environments. SQL Express Edition or higher is supported.
  • Recommended Operating System: Windows Server 2019 or later is recommended.
  • IIS Server and .NET Requirements: Requires Microsoft IIS Server with a minimum .NET version of 9.
  • MIP Fund Accounting Compatibility: Requires MIP Fund Accounting version 2024.x.x or higher.
  • Email Authentication: Email setup requires an OAuth2 or app password authentication; Basic authentication is not supported.
  • Two-Step Authentication: Available with setup options for SMS or email verification.
  • Password Policy: Previous passwords will not be accepted. Users must authenticate using their email address and a temporary passcode.
  • Domain Email Requirement: All user accounts must have a unique domain email address and it cannot be shared or duplicated with another login account.
  • License Conversion: Shared Windows licenses will be converted to the equivalent cost for web licenses. NOTE! Upgrading may require additional user licenses based on the number of users who need login access.
  • Upgrade Policy: No-cost upgrades are available for customers with an active support and maintenance plan.
  • Attachment Storage Migration: Attachments stored in the SQL database MWFMAttachments will be migrated to a network drive.
  • Customized Forms and Reports: Customized forms and reports for timesheets, purchase orders, and invoices are incompatible and will default to standard forms and reports for each module.
  • Grid Layout Customizations: Customized grid layouts for data entry forms and document lists are not supported and will default to standard columns.
  • HDS Integration: Direct links to the Housing Data System (HDS) are not supported. Integration must use our REST API endpoint.
  • Windows Client Features:
    • We have transitioned from a traditional MDI (Multiple Document Interface) tabbed layout, which allowed multiple windows to be open simultaneously, to a modern single-page navigation approach. This streamlined design enhances usability by focusing on one task or view at a time, ensuring a cleaner and more intuitive user experience
    • The Ribbon menu has been replaced with a streamlined navigation menu, similar to the interface used in Office Web Applications
    • Direct "Batch Scanning" into the application, as available in the Windows Client, is not supported.
  • Compatibility: Backward compatibility with the Windows Client and Web Companion is not supported. Due to the updated user interface, we recommend customers request a preview before proceeding with an upgrade.
  • New Add-On Features: Invoice Capture, Bank Feed, and Travel Reimbursement are new add-on features available for activation at an additional cost.

Enhanced Security

  • Enhanced security using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), offering options to receive codes via Email or Short Message Service (SMS)
  • Account lockout feature requiring administrator intervention for unlocking
  • Support for adding an alternative email address or personal phone number based in the United States
  • Administrators can set the number of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) attempts and define the application idle timeout period
